Fleet Mechanic

You’ll repair and maintain LCRA’s fleet assets, including diesel trucks, off-road equipment, and hydraulic equipment like bucket trucks and man lifts.

Tools, uniforms and OEM training are provided.

Install, maintain and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment. Perform hands-on work in a variety of settings, including office campuses, power plants, substations and dams.

Facilities Technician

You’re key to keeping LCRA buildings, campuses and grounds safe and running smoothly.

Power Plant Operator

You’ll monitor and operate the equipment that produces electric power. Operate a coal-fired, gas or combined-cycle power plant.

WHAT YOU NEED TO QUALIFY

Be a high school senior from an approved high school

Approved high schools can be found above within the requirements for each trade

Pursue an associate degree in one of our approved trades from one of the following schools

Texas State Technical College • Tyler Junior College • Blinn College

Maintain a 3.0 GPA

+

Commit to a summer internship with LCRA during college & 3 years with us after graduation

+

Apply by March 15 of your senior year of high school
